    We’ve been long time fans of the work Alejo Kahle has been doing on his family farms located on the slopes of Barva and Poás Volcano in Central and West Valley and in Saints region of Costa Rica.

    We were lucky enough to meet Alejo a few years ago when he visited Australia, and were impressed by how committed he was to both producing the best micro lots possible as well as his strong desire to help conserve Costa Rica’s stunning natural biodiversity. The family has managed to acquire over 1,500 hectares of rainforest for ecological preservation in areas where they grow their coffee, as well as in the Osa Peninsula in the countries southwest.

    We have just received a special micro lot from Alejo – a red honey processed Gesha. It’s full bodied, with kenyan like acidity, tamarilo & peach. We hope you love it as much as we do!
