    This is a lot from one of Cedro Alto’s members. It’s a mixed varietal lot from Fabier Jarlid Oidor that’s been washed in an oxygen deprived environment and dried on an enclosed mesh floor dryer for stable and consistent drying.

    Whilst Huila is naturally known for their optimal coffee growing conditions, the key to great quality coffees from the La Plata region, such as this lot, are the producers themselves. Coffee farming in this region is mostly small-scale. Approximately 80% of producers farm coffee on less than 3 hectares of land. These small farms are tended by individual families with labour only very rarely being contracted out, which leads to more thorough and intensive management practices and great pride in the final product.
